Fred Starkey started his
electronics career at Mullard (now Philips) in Blackburn in the Quality
Dept.(semiconductors) & later had 13 years service at Celdis.
Fred's area
is Sales & Marketing.
Lynne Starkey started On Board in
Jan. 1991, with Fred, her husband, joining shortly afterwards. Between them they
have over 50 years experience in the Electronics Industry.
Lynne's main
function is to look after Inspection.
Russell Starkey,
Lynne & Fred's eldest son, joined the business in April 1998. He spent three
years in production at a local company after completing his "A"
levels.
Russell's key area is Production.
Kevin Starkey, Lynne &
Fred's youngest son, joined the business in April 2001, after completing an apprenticeship in refrigeration.
Kevin is also specialising in
Production.
Pam Foote joined us on 2nd Jan 2002, part time 2/3 days per week. She is self employed, doing mainly Electronic Assembly of in-hole electronics. Pam has over 15 years experience in Electronic Assembly, having worked for other local electronic manufacturers. Pam will also be helping Lynne at the Inspection end of the business.
